Cisco UCCX 9 Wallboard Script

This wallboard is from four hours into our day, so the numbers are a bit low.  Anyway these two  wallboards  were created within UCCX with no additional servers or equipment!   I was looking all around for a good wallboard for CCX but  couldn't  find quite what i was looking for, or they all required  another  server setup...     Plus we run 30+ CSQ's in each of our two call centers from one primary/secondary CCX server, so this gets messy in other wallboards that are usually geared toward a few CSQ's. As we started scripting our call center, I noticed all kinds of access to cool data, then I found that CCX supports HTML triggers in applications!    So I created a new application with an HTML trigger ( that's  the wallboard address on UCCX). I then created a script that would go and grab specific stats for each CSQ that is defined in the application.  The script also adds these up as...

Mobile Amateur Radio Install (two-way radio Icom IC-7000)

This is my installation of an Icom IC-7000 UHF/VHF/HF radio, with the Icom AH-3 antenna coupler which is feeding a stainless steel 102" whip antenna.  The IC-7000 has been modified to transmit on just about any frequency 400 Mhz and below (skipping the 200 Mhz band).   I first installed the actual radio under the passenger seat.  This seemed like an OK area, plenty of room and easy access to hide all of the wires under the carpet and kick panels. I then installed the detachable radio face somewhere it would be out of the way, yet easy to operate. In order to use the HF band from at least 7 Mhz to 50 Mhz with out the need to swap 10 different antennas, I decided to go with a 102" whip and an antenna coupler.   This way if i'm out and about, I can always just tie a long wire to the 102" whip and then to a tree or something for more efficient low frequency work. CCTV (security) Cameras from within Windows Media Center (WMC)

     OK so I have a pretty good WMC setup, server, drives in a raid, 4 tuner cable card, and analog tuner card with FM.   So we use WMC for all TV's in the house with extenders from linksys (DMA2100). They don't make the DMA2100 anymore so I bought up all I could find on ebay.  All of that works great, I have a DVR for my CCTV cameras, and wanted a way to watch them from any room in the house. I noticed one of my tuner cards had RCA inputs, but WMC doesn't support that as an input unless you use it for an external tuner box (cable box, satellite box).  So I looked all over the net everyone had the same question, and everyone said it can not be done, or you need all IP cameras and use mceNetCam.       Then it hit me... DUH.......     Use a modulator and send the cameras over channel 4 on the analog tuner card! A friend gave me an RCA CRF907 TV modulator.   I created a new analog channel...

9-3-2021 - Well, this will probably be the last time I report a faster speed test, unless I get a 10gb fiber link to my PC, this is about the fastest speed I should be able to see on two bonded 1gbps copper connections. This result is almost perfect considering overhead, though download could be a bit faster.  1-24-2015 - Just added a recent test to an old post, got bored. hehe, I like the "faster than 95% of the US"  :-) 2-22-2011 - After Installing a bi-directional drop amp with active return, I finally got my cable signal to a good point. The downstream dBm is probably a bit high at 7.32 to 9.19 but rx MER (or SN ratio) is at 38.26 not bad. Upstream is now at 46.50 dBm from 57.30. I have some good signals now and it defiantly made a difference. I'm not saying a drop amp, especially with active return, is the cure all. Oil PC v2.0

     I have made a few Oil cooled PC's in the past, this time I wanted to make a really small one. My requirements: Silent, small, 1ghz or faster, able to surf the net, run windows 7, and stream radio from LAST.FM. So I got to work on this! It's an ebay mac mini with windows 7 installed (no more osx) removed the mac mini shell, and started to silicone the loose parts in place (IR receiver, wifi antenna, sound card). I attached a small fan to the back of the mother board and to the back of the aquarium. My goal here was to create a "floating" motherboard, as well as have an invisible method to circulate the oil. Hardware stats are: Processor: 1.67Ghz RAM: only 512MB Hard Drive: Intel SSD (board of chips in the front) NETWORK: mini pci on board      Everything else is over USB, DVI (video), keyboard, mouse, and more usb ports.
